Bulk trash is for large items that cannot go with regular trash, with the exceptions of paint cans, concrete, tires and building materials.

Accepting bulk metal, such as appliances, lawn mowers, etc.

If residents wish to recycle computers and electronics, you will need to take the items to the recycling center at the County Landfill.  If not, they will be thrown in with the regular bulk trash.

Bulk trash must be brought to the Public Works facility located on Geer Lane.  Identification will be required to show proof that you reside within town limits.

Please call the Town Office with any questions of what we can accept at Bulk Trash.

YARD WASTE

Yard waste pick up is the first full week of the month and the 3rd week of the month.  Dates are firm, unless an emergency or inclement weather occurs.

Rain dates are the following Monday.

Collection Reminders:

1. Yard waste can be put in brown paper yard waste bags (can be purchased at Walmart, Lowe’s or Home Depot).
2. Yard waste can be put into cans. Please make sure lids fit and holes are drilled in the bottom of the can for drainage. Please, NO cans that are broken and/or have sharp edges.
3. Tree limbs can NOT exceed more than 4 feet long and 4 inches in diameter and must be tied into bundles.
4. Please NO DOG WASTE or trash mixed into yard waste!!

3. Leaves can also be put into cans. Please make sure lids fit and holes are drilled in the bottom of the can for drainage. Please, NO cans that are broken and/or have sharp edges.
4. Please NO DOG WASTE, dirt, stones, sticks or trash mixed into the leaves!!
5. There will not be Town pick up in Springdale Village or The Reserve at New Windsor.
