What qualifications are needed to run for Mayor?

The Mayor must have resided in the Town for at least two years immediately preceding the election and must be a qualified voter of the Town.  He/She must maintain a permanent residence in the Town during his/her term.

The current tax rate for real property is $0.2615 per hundred of assessed value.

The current tangible personal property tax rate is $.0040 per hundred.

The FY20 rates are as follows:

The water base rate is $131.00, in addition to $3.98 per 1000 gallons.
The sewer base rate is $105.00, in addition to $8.13 per 1000 gallons.
Add $15 for the Bay Restoration.
