The New Windsor MD Route 31 Water Main Improvements Project will be starting in Spring 2023. The construction contract was awarded to Mid-Atlantic Utilities, Inc. The project is expected to take 18-months from the start of construction.

This notice is being sent to properties that are located on MD Route 31, Main Street, and High Street and are most directly impacted by the project.

There will be a public information meeting on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

The meeting will be held at the New Windsor Fire Dept. 101 High Street and will start at 7:00 pm. Representatives from the following will be in attendance:

Town – Mayor, Council and staff

GMB – Design Engineer

Mid-Atlantic Utilities – General Contractor

WBCM – Town Inspection

State Highway Administration

New Windsor Fire Company

The meeting will be a station format. Mayor Roop will make introductions and provide a general overview of the project. Residents will then be able to visit the various stations, ask questions and express concerns with the various representatives. A question-and-answer period will follow prior to closing the meeting.
